Nassau County is easily accessible from three major airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport ( JFK) on the Queens side of the Nassau- Queens border; LaGuardia Airport (LGA), also in Queens; and Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in Ronkonkoma. All three are conveniently located near parkways and the Long Island Expressway. Both the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Ferry, connecting to Bridgeport, CT, across Long Island Sound and the Cross Sound Ferry, connecting Orient Point Long Island to New London, CT, offer daily round-trip service. The Long Island Rail Road leaves Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan, making stops at communities throughout Nassau County.
